Akira From Katsuhiro Otomo

Akira was the first animation movie with 24 frames per second and one of the most expensive of the times.
The movie takes action in Neo-tokyo in 2019 , 31 years after the III world war.
A very hostile place where the violence, oppression and terrorism are everyday.
a group of  religious sects and other extremist groups  make the myth about a kid calls AKIRA who has the absolute energy for taken japon to the next era.
The first look that we have Its Kaneda the leader of a motorcycles band call “capsules” and Tetsuo, his friend   against another band “ the clowns”  . Tetsuo  takes Kaneda´s Bike and has a accident, he collides against a mysterious kid ,while the police suppress the people. The police takes everyone and Kaneda with her speechless gets everyone's free. But Tetsuo After his accident start having hallucinations  and headache, then  later becomes into a big psychic  power , the power of “good” and the government wants him death because this huge  power  without control can be the finale of Neo-tokyo and the humanity. Between of this chaos the government experiment with psychics power in kids to control the Akira power. Kaneda fight with a experimental weapon with Tetsuo for revenge  And everything ends with the destruction of japan and the “death” of Tetsuo.
really Like this movie because the level of his a animation It's amazing and  treat very well done  postmodernism themes, It's an  ICONIC movie, and Its disturbing the similitud that we have now. The japones know the power of the atomic war, something that It's way too big than you and Otomo used to make us reflection of  how the  scientific advances can be catastrophic without a way and how the influential people and government manipulate everything for their convenience  At the same time talks about the missing youth that might not live the war but has to get with the consequences.
